The Start of another New Life

This is the start of a new year. The year is 1820. We are in the romantics period and the revolutionary period between the U.S and the British.  Sara was left alone as her fellow mates were taken away from British soldiers to help fight in the war. As Sara waits with anxiety for the safe return of her colleagues and Mr. and Mrs. Hartman, she will have to just try to make herself useful around the house. As months flew by Sara has waited anxiously for them but maybe it was time to move on. As Sara packing up she saw some people in the distance. She is wondering what is that. She thought it was soldiers coming back for more but it was actually her colleagues and Mr. and Mrs. Hartman. She was happy and thrilled to see them after a long fought battle against the U.S. She is glad that everyone has returned home and back with their families again. As they were settling in one of the people said, “That was one heck of a fought out battle I’ve ever seen in my life.” Everyone agreed with him.  Everyone was telling what happened in the battle and how it ended. Even though Sara was shocked and excited what has happened during battle, she is happy to see everyone got home safely without any major injuries. There were a couple of minor bruises and cuts but everyone went home a winner. Sara will now be able to go to the Hartman’s house everyday and take care of them and their children. She will always be happy and never think about the past.

A New Life

As time flies by we are now at the year 1776. Its been a hundred and twenty- six years since my parents died and now I’am on my own. My name is Sara and I’m the great, great, great, great, great, great grand daughter of Alex, Jane, Andre, Katie, George, and Katherine.  At first George and Katherine had a son named Alex which was very inspiring for them. He was the one that helped our mom and dad take better responsibility to keep everything in perfect condition.  Sara has been a great help for the past 150 years and now we are at war claiming our side of the country away from the British. She has been taking care of children of Mr. and Mrs. Hartman. They were good children and every time Sara went to there house, the children will have fun, laugh, and even play dress up. The children are an inspiration to her and there parents. One day there kids will grow up to become strong and the one to show other people they can strive for success. It was a bright, summer day and Sara was on her way to baby-sit the kids of Mr. and Mrs. Hartman when British soldiers came all around and gathered the workers. The Commander in Charge announced that all workers (free-slaved people) are to join the army to fight in the war against the U.S. We all cooperated and follow the direct orders of the Commander. I was sad and crying hoping that I will be able to come back and help the Hartman’s. I will miss the children. They have shown me that life can be easy if the person does the right thing. The choices a person makes today, shape their world tomorrow.

The Secret has been revealed!

The future is coming close to an end for Katherine and I. Our son Ken is doing well and the most responsible son that we can ever have. Our son is helping us around the house and caring for our health. So far our lives are coming together but will end short then we thought it would be.  We have taken good care of this child and we want to continue what he is doing so that in his future he will have kids that will grow up to become one of us and like Ken. I sometimes ponder that we would die any second now but our son is taking good care of us so that we can live longer. Even though I’m getting older by the minute I want to assure that my family is safe and in good health. Unfortunately something is suspicious with Katherine sometimes because she thinks that she is hiding something from that I don’t even know about. I talked to Katherine just right before we go to bed. I asked her, “Honey, are you ok? Is there something going on that you can’t tell me”?  She replies, “I’m ok but I think we have a little problem between us. I have another child to take care of. Joseph and I have been flirting a lot and he was an awesome guy to talk to. I’m sorry I didn’t tell you at first but I thought you would be happier without me telling you.” For a moment I thought to myself should I do something about or accept her apology and just tell her everything is going to be ok. It was a harsh moment but I accepted her apology and explained what I would promise her to do. I’ll talk to Joseph about what happened between you and Joseph and I will help take care of this child for as long as we shall live forever and

The Exciting Moment of September 1655

Tis the 21st of September 1655, Katherine and I are working together as hard as we can to help raise our child, Ken and make our lives more easier. I will take this oath and promise Katherine that our child will be in good health and hope to live the dreams of becoming one of us. When Ken was the age of 4 he can only walk and talk but since he's getting older he can write, read, and even help mom around the house with chores. Ken will soon be brave, strong, and caring like us. We taught him well and he will learn from it. As the years go by and our son is getting older by the minute I think I will let him work at the ironworks in London where I work so that he will know how to make steel. He will work under the supervision of John Beax. Ken will take the freeman oath by attending church regularly to meet the "member in good standing" requirement and hopefully marry a good looking girl when he grows up. Ken will study in school and college so that he can become successful in life for the pure future.

"My plans after September 21" September 21, 1650

Tis the 21st of September, and the plans after this date with Katherine is becoming more intense that I can bear in a lifetime. I just returned home from England after working at the ironworks in London with John Beax to find out that my family has died. I plan to hopefully marry Katherine Nevins at the age of 38 because she had beautiful eyes. Five years later into our relationship we plan to marry as soon as possible. After a year or two we will have our first child. His name is Ken. I take the oath to help my wife take care of this child so that one day he will be strong and caring like us. As years flew by Ken has been learning to walk and talk. By the age of 4 he started to walk on his own and his first words were momma and papa. At the age of 40 I’ve been working at the ironworks in London so that my wife will be happy for what I ‘am doing. I sacrifice my time to work so that I can have money to save for Ken when he gets older and he’ll be able to buy things that are truly needed. I also spend my time with Katherine taking care of Ken so that he’s in good health and he can be more mature later on. Through the years life has been hectic and our boy is getting older, taller, and smarter. By this time we are all working together to keep our lives running without any delays and dangers that still leads the way.
